Rita Lee foi celebrada em uma exposição sobre sua vida e carreira, em uma grande homenagem no MIS, no segundo semestre de 2021. Uma das salas da exposição exibiu meus desenhos, representando o ativismo de Rita pela causa animal e sua ligação com a literatura infantil. O ambiente foi decorado com destaque para a capa do livro “Amiga Ursa”, em um enorme stand in, e para dr. Alex e seus amigos ratos flutuando em bolhas de sabão.  A sala também exibiu um vídeo emocionante de Rita contando a história de “Amiga Ursa” para crianças no lançamento da obra. Além disso, Rita aproveitou a exposição para lançar seu último livro infantil, “Dr. Alex e vovó Ritinha: uma aventura no espaço”, também ilustrado por mim.

Rita Lee was celebrated in an exhibition showcasing her life and career, paying a grand tribute at MIS in the second half of 2021. One of the exhibition rooms featured my drawings, representing Rita's animal rights activism and her connection with children's literature. The space was adorned prominently with the cover of the book “Amiga Ursa”, displayed on a massive stand-in, along with illustrations of Dr. Alex and his friends floating in soap bubbles. The room also presented an emotional video of Rita narrating the story of “Amiga Ursa” for children during the book launch. Additionally, Rita took advantage of the exhibition to release her latest children's book, “Dr. Alex e vovó Ritinha: uma aventura no espaço”, also illustrated by me.
